Chef's Salad

Crisp and cool, yet hearty and satisfying

Ingredients:

  1. Your favorite salad dressing
  2. 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  3. 2 eggs, hard cooked and sliced
  4. 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  5. 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  6. 1 cup cheese, cut into julienne strips (Swiss, cheddar, Monterey Jack)
  7. 1 cup turkey, cut into julienne strips
  8. 1 cup ham, cut into julienne strips
  9. 1 bunch romaine, torn into bite size pieces
  10. 1 head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
Directions:

Into a large salad bowl, add lettuce and romaine (about 12 cups.)

Set aside 3 strips each of ham, turkey and cheese to garnish top of salad later on. Add remaining meat and cheese strips, green onion and celery to lettuce and toss.

Garnish with reserved meat and cheese strips, egg slices and tomato wedges. Serve with your favorite salad dressing.
