Creamy Vegetable Salad Sandwich

A meatless gourmet sandwich

Yield: 4 sandwiches


1 package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped celery (1 stalk)
1/4 cup grated carrot (1 medium carrot)
2 Tablespoons chopped radishes (about 2 radishes)
2 Tablespoons minced green onion (about 6 green onion)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
8 slices pumpernickel bread


In small bowl combine cream cheese, sour cream, celery, carrot, radishes, scallions and Worcestershire sauce.

Spread a heaping 1/3 cup on each of 4 slices of bread. Top with remaining bread and slice in half.
